Cura Contemporary is thrilled to welcome the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival in our upstairs gallery! From April 9th to April 16th, PJIFF will include online film screenings, speaker panels, awards, gala’s, food and fun. This thrilling event takes place in the historic downtown districts of Morgan Hill and Gilroy, California, which are known for their vibrant arts scene, award-winning wineries and restaurants, and welcoming small-town vibe.
The mission of the Poppy Jasper International Film Festival is to change the way we see each other through film. We promote inclusion, champion diversity, and empower all people, including people of color, women, and all of those who have been historically marginalized, to tell their stories through film and the digital arts. We celebrate underrepresented voices and the power of art to illuminate the human condition.
