Katherine Warinner, based in Marin County, California draws inspiration from the natural world.  Her art—which is a hybrid of painting, printmaking, digital imagery, and photographic processes—works to reinvent traditional forms of printing with modern technology. Her work has been included in many solo and group exhibitions and is in private and corporate collections including Centene Corporation, Saint Louis, MO, Kaiser Permanente, California, Stanford Healthcare, Palo Alto, CA, and Sutter Health, Sacramento, CA. She has been an artist in residence at Kala Art Institute and InCahoots Residency where she prints her large scale works on paper. Warinner was recently awarded the Denis Diderot Grant to attend a residency in France at Chateau d’Orquevaux in 2025. Born in the midwest, where she attended college and graduate school, she has lived in Marin, CA for over 30 years.
